Description

You will manage utility interconnection applications, provide technical expertise on standards, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize renewable energy project designs. This role focuses on ensuring technical soundness and cost efficiency while supporting project development and commissioning.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in interconnection or related activities at a utility, solar developer, or consultancy
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, IFC, and other industry standards
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of utility interconnection applications from submission to closeout
• Perform detailed review and interpretation of technical documentation and utility studies
• Provide expert technical advice and recommendations on study outcomes
• Prepare interconnection cost estimation and hosting capacity map analyses
• Mentor Interconnection Engineers and support business development activities
