💼 About This Role

You'll join the SRE team to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of Geotab's core products. You'll act as a primary escalation point for critical production issues, diagnosing and resolving complex application problems. This role offers the chance to work with monolithic and microservice architectures and contribute to long-term system stability.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Act as primary escalation for critical production issues
• Troubleshoot complex problems across the application stack
• Improve monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in SRE/DevOps/Tier 3
• Strong Linux proficiency and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Experience with database querying (SQL, BigQuery)
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/Azure/AWS)

• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of networking concepts
