Description

You will lead the design, validation, and operation of guidance, navigation, and control systems for Anduril's spacecraft. Your work ensures reliable autonomous maneuvers and mission success across various orbital regimes, directly supporting U.S. military and allied space domain awareness and control capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background; degree in Astrodynamics, Aerospace Engineering, Controls, CS, or related field.
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, Go, and/or Linux Systems.
• Experience conducting spacecraft operations and satellite command and control.
• Experience with orbital mechanics and 3-DOF/6-DOF dynamics simulation for GNC analysis.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead spacecraft GNC software and hardware subsystems for various orbital regimes.
• Develop modern, software-defined autonomous spacecraft operations with maneuvering capabilities.
• Design test plans and procedures to validate GNC system during ground checkout, on-orbit commissioning and operations.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Design flight software, algorithms, and simulation products.
