Description

You will serve as a trusted resource for individuals living with Systemic Mastocytosis (SM) and Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST), delivering disease and treatment education through live and virtual engagements. Your role empowers patients and caregivers to better understand their condition and navigate their treatment journey.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; clinical background preferred
• 5+ years in patient education, nurse educator, or similar patient-facing roles in pharma/biotech
• Rare disease, oncology, or specialty medicine experience strongly preferred
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills in virtual and live environments
• Ability to build trust with patients and caregivers

Responsibilities

• Deliver disease state and treatment education to patients and caregivers
• Facilitate educational programs, webinars, 1:1 meetings, and small-group discussions
• Translate complex clinical information into patient-friendly conversations
• Build trusted relationships within SM and GIST patient communities
• Collaborate with advocacy organizations to expand educational outreach
