💼 About This Role
You'll join Hudson River Trading's HPC Network Engineering team to design and scale low-latency communications infrastructure for large GPU and CPU compute clusters across global data centers. Your work will directly impact the performance of our algorithmic trading operations. We offer the freedom to tackle big-picture problems with immediate global impact.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Design, select, route, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with HPC Systems team to scale the research environment.
- Perform capacity planning for data center networks.
- Develop scripts and processes to increase network efficiency.
📋 Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage implementation schedules.
- In-depth understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, VXLAN).
- Experience managing Arista (EOS), Cisco (NX-OS), Nvidia (Cumulus) switches.

- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Salt.
- Experience with AI-style network designs and workloads.
