💼 About This Role

You'll own avionics system-level design for our first spacecraft, from prototyping through flight operations. Your core impact will be designing, building, and testing reliable space-ready components in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. This role offers the chance to effect real change in a cutting-edge aerospace startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own avionics system-level design and interface trades
• Prototype, bring up, and validate flight computers and comms systems
• Establish best practices and tooling for EE design
• Design and execute qualification testing for space environments

📋 Requirements

• PCBAs designed and validated for space or similar high-performance environments
• Owned multiple high-reliability electronics subsystems from concept to deployment
• Autonomy to succeed with minimal supervision
• Experience hacking and troubleshooting electronics systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Iterated on requirements in highly constrained trade spaces
• Experience with vibration, shock, thermal vacuum testing
