Description

You will design and operate secure, scalable AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure that powers Housecall Pro's engineering organization. You'll build platform abstractions, enforce security and compliance by default, and enable product teams to deliver quickly and safely.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software, infrastructure, or systems engineering
• Deep hands-on experience operating production systems in AWS
• Expertise with Kubernetes and containerized runtimes
• Experience designing infrastructure or internal developer platforms
• Proven experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for AWS as a stable, scalable service platform
• Own architecture and health of AWS environments (compute, networking, storage, identity, Kubernetes)
• Drive platform reliability, performance, and fault tolerance improvements
• Build and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code for consistent provisioning and lifecycle management
• Provide self-service infrastructure patterns and paved paths to improve developer experience
