💼 About This Role

You'll act as a hybrid quality champion, bridging manual and automated testing within the Data Import team. Your core impact will be empowering developers to own quality through pair programming and coaching, while leading the shift toward an AI-assisted QA environment. This role stands out for its focus on agentic test generation and working with a global, PE-backed company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Coach engineers on quality ownership through pair programming and testing sessions.
• Build and evolve test automation across backend (Java) and frontend (Angular).
• Develop and maintain AI agents that generate and self-heal tests.
• Monitor post-release health using tools like Sentry or Grafana.
• Drive quality engineering strategy and collaborate cross-functionally.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in QA automation and quality engineering.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript and Playwright.
• Solid understanding of testing in Java/Angular stack (JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Angular Testing Library).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).

• Experience using AI coding tools (Cursor or Claude) for agentic test generation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Sentry or Grafana).
• Experience testing complex data-heavy enterprise software, ideally in finance.
