💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and evolution of systems powering Block's Legal team, combining software engineering and AI to enable more intelligent ways of working. Your work will directly impact how Legal leverages automation, data, and AI at scale, reducing manual effort and improving workflows. This role offers a unique opportunity to define a long-term architectural vision while staying hands-on.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and evolve legal systems architecture for scalability and adaptability
• Identify and drive high-impact automation, integration, and AI opportunities
• Lead design and implementation of AI-driven solutions using Claude, Harvey
• Build and oversee integrations across DocuSign CLM, Brightflag, Tonkean, AODocs

📋 Requirements

• 7–10+ years in software engineering or systems architecture
• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms and APIs
• Hands-on AI tools experience (Claude, Codex, Copilot)

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep ELM/eBilling experience (Brightflag preferred)
• Strong eDiscovery experience (EDRM lifecycle)
• Experience with data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
