Description

You will conduct thorough inspections of machined components for rocket manufacturing, using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with engineering specifications. Document results, identify non-conformities, and maintain quality lab organization. This second-shift role offers a 10% pay differential and is part of a growing quality team building the industry's highest quality 3D-printed parts.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical inspection or quality control in manufacturing
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specs with Y14.5 and GD&T understanding

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components for compliance with engineering specs and drawings
• Use precision tools like calipers, micrometers, profilometers, thread and pin gages
• Document inspection results and write nonconformance reports
• Perform visual inspection for burrs, damages, scratches, or FOD
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of quality lab and metrology tools
