💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and optimization of electrical systems for xAI's cutting-edge data centers, ensuring reliability, safety, and scalability. Your work will directly support mission-critical operations and accelerate human scientific discovery through AI. You'll collaborate onsite with multidisciplinary teams to drive complex technical challenges.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design meetings for electrical systems in data center builds and expansions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop detailed specifications for system components.
• Oversee design, construction, permitting, and collaboration with licensed engineers.
• Manage installation of PDUs, UPS systems, cooling units, and critical infrastructure.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in data center operations or electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems (transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS).
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SKM, and power system analysis software.

✨ Nice to Have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility.
• EIT with progression toward PE considered.
• Demonstrated experience in project management for large-scale data center projects.
