💼 About This Role

You'll join the Trailmaker development team, designing and building computational tools for single cell data analysis. You'll drive full-stack development of features that enable thousands of researchers to turn data into biology. This is a high-impact role in a remote-first, collaborative team with no division between backend, frontend, or testing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop computational pipelines for single cell analysis
• Build and improve interactive data visualizations
• Troubleshoot customer analyses and iterate on features
• Collaborate across full stack on feature implementation

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in bioinformatics engineering roles
• Fluent in Python and R
• Experience with single cell analysis tools like Scanpy and Seurat
• Competency with container-based cloud applications, ideally AWS

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Nextflow or similar pipeline frameworks
• Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows
• Knowledge of web development
