Description

As a Propulsion Engineer, you will own the development, production, and operation of engine combustors for the Raptor engine. You'll drive design changes, coordinate teams, and analyze test data to ensure reliable flight performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years experience with rocket/jet engine hardware or high-pressure fluid systems
• Proficiency in compressible/incompressible flow, combustion, heat transfer, thermodynamics
• Experience with CAD (Siemens NX or Solidworks)
• Self-motivated with ability to organize and motivate a team

Responsibilities

• Own design, requirements, delivery, and performance of engine combustor hardware
• Drive design changes for reliability, simplification, and performance
• Coordinate cross-functional team through informal leadership
• Develop test requirements and participate in test operations
• Perform anomaly reviews and data analysis to improve designs
