💼 About This Role

You'll lead the global Compliance Monitoring and Oversight function at Airwallex, architecting the Second Line of Defense assurance framework. You'll mature testing methodologies to provide data-driven insights to the Board and Senior Management, ensuring safe growth across 26 offices.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Refine global methodology for compliance testing, sampling, and reporting
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of monitoring specialists
• Design and execute the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan using risk-based approach
• Translate testing results into actionable intelligence for leadership

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years in Compliance Assurance, Internal Audit, or Regulatory Testing in fintech/financial services
• Significant experience managing international teams with a track record of developing senior talent
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies (design vs. operating effectiveness) and root cause analysis
• Experience across multiple regulatory jurisdictions (US, UK/EU, APAC)

• Previous experience in Big 4 or Internal Audit function
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CAMS, ICA Diploma in GRC)
