💼 About This Role

You'll lead accessioning automation for a new AI-native engineering team. You'll design and ship AI-powered services that eliminate manual transcription, unlocking multi-million-dollar savings. This is a founding technical role in a small, senior, fast-moving pod.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead technical design and delivery of AI-native accessioning automation services
• Build and ship services from prototype to production independently
• Integrate AI/IDP services with mature commerce and fulfillment systems
• Set engineering practices: AI-assisted dev, test automation, CI/CD, observability

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Proven shipment of AI-powered features in production
• Backend engineering fundamentals: REST/gRPC, microservices, relational databases, event-driven architectures

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with healthcare, clinical lab, or diagnostics workflows (HIPAA, regulated)
• Prior work on document data extraction, forms automation, or accessioning/intake systems
• Front-end experience (React) for internal tools and operator UIs
