💼 About This Role

You'll lead data acquisition and curation for our SaaS platform Mystra, bridging science and engineering. You'll govern highly personal genomic data driving scientific discovery, ensuring privacy and licensing compliance. This role offers a chance to impact drug discovery using large-scale genetic data.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Research and secure new genomic data opportunities
• Write Python scripts to pull data from GWAS and integrate metadata
• Evaluate datasets for licensing and privacy compliance
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure seamless data ingestion

📋 Requirements

• PhD in a genomic discipline or equivalent experience
• Python proficiency and understanding of compute architecture and cloud systems
• Experience with UK Biobank, DB GAP, or EGA
• Deep understanding of data modeling and governance
