You'll design and scale the global WAN infrastructure for Hudson River Trading's high-performance computing and algorithmic trading environments. Your work directly enables the rapid growth of interconnected data centers and trading colos worldwide. This role offers a chance to architect next-generation networks using programmatic approaches with Python and configuration management tools.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and troubleshoot next-generation WAN routing and architecture.
• Collaborate with HPC and network teams to scale WAN capacity.
• Implement automation using Python and tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Analyze traffic patterns and optimize bandwidth usage.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with carrier-scale global WAN design.
• Advanced expertise in BGP, Segment Routing, and MPLS.
• Proficiency in multi-vendor network equipment (Arista, Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with Unix/Linux command line and networking stack.

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Optical OLS/DWDM experience.
