💼 About This Role

You'll lead Plaid's European engineering team, building the open banking platform that powers fintechs' global expansion. You'll drive the technical roadmap for payments, credit, and bank connectivity across Europe. This role offers high autonomy as the senior-most engineering leader in the region.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a team of 9+ engineers from mid-level to Staff
• Set technical and product direction for Plaid in Europe
• Drive roadmap and make tradeoffs between speed, risk, and long-term investments
• Go deep on technical design to unblock complex problems

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience including Staff-level engineering
• 2-3+ years of engineering management experience
• Experience owning a production product and partnering with Product
• Experience designing scalable, reliable systems at scale

• Experience in fintech, payments, credit, or regulated domains
• Experience leading teams in international or multi-region environments
