You'll work under a Project Supervisor to provide litigation support, including complex legal research and drafting legal documents for a large federal agency. Your core impact will be assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation and ensuring high-quality work under pressure. 🎯 What You'll Do
- Perform complex legal research for trial staff
- Assist in preparing draft legal documents such as motions and briefs
- Cite check using Westlaw, Lexis, and Bluebook
- Review and research Release of Information (ROI)
📋 Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or completion of at least one year at an ABA-accredited law school
- Working knowledge of federal and state court systems
- Experience with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
- Hands-on familiarity with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging
