💼 About This Role

You'll play a critical role in developing the core data and software platform for AI-enabled biomarker products at a well-funded early-stage startup. Your work will enable ingestion, organization, and serving of complex clinical and imaging data to accelerate scientific and product development. You'll have high ownership and work closely with an interdisciplinary team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build backend services, APIs, data workflows, and internal tools.
• Develop ETL pipelines to ingest multi-modal datasets.
• Design schemas for evolving data models.
• Collaborate with ML scientists to support model development and deployment.

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing APIs and data-intensive production systems.
• Hands-on with databases (schemas, messy data) and data pipelines.
• Cloud experience with at least one major provider.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high-resolution image data or medical data.
• Experience with OCR or document extraction.
• Experience across relational and non-relational databases.
