💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure for critical government AI workloads at xAI. Your work will enable large-scale training and inference clusters across bare metal, cloud, and hybrid environments. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Provision and manage infrastructure across on-premise, VM, and classified cloud environments
• Enhance reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness for AI and application workloads
• Collaborate with engineers to design tailored solutions meeting government compliance standards
• Implement observability, monitoring, and security practices ensuring system integrity

📋 Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• 5+ years as Infrastructure Engineer or SRE in secure or government environments
• Proficiency in IaC tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes stack including CNI, CRI, CSI

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GPU hardware installation and debugging
• Familiarity with chaos engineering and capacity planning
• Proficiency in Kyverno, ArgoCD, or Go for infrastructure automation
