Description

You will perform trade studies, requirements derivation, and establish vehicle configurations. You'll conduct hand calculations and FEM analysis of primary and secondary structures, support test execution, and write structural substantiation reports for FAA airworthiness approvals.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (M.S. preferred)
• Proven experience with stress, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis on metallic and composite structures
• Proficient in Nastran, Optistruct, Ansys, Abaqus, or LS-Dyna
• Knowledge of fatigue/fracture analysis (AFGRO/NASGRO, spectra development)

Responsibilities

• Perform trade studies and requirements derivation
