Description

This role is within JetBrains' Innovation Hub, working on an early-stage startup called Project Bonsai. You will own the product strategy, run continuous discovery with developers, and define the initial scope for building infrastructure for AI-spec-driven development.

Requirements

• Hands-on product ownership experience with end-to-end discovery and delivery
• Technical background or mindset; production coding experience is a strong plus
• Comfort with ambiguity and turning unclear problems into concrete plans
• Zero-to-one exposure with early product discovery and first adoption
• Relevant domain experience with developer tools, IDEs, or developer productivity platforms

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and define product direction based on technical foundation
• Run continuous discovery by talking directly to developers to understand workflows and pain points
• Define initial scope, identify ICP, key scenarios, and priority features
• Track ecosystem of adjacent tools, competitors, and research
• Work closely with engineering team to maintain focus and alignment in early-stage environment
