💼 About This Role

You'll define the strategic vision for technical documentation at Mistral AI, building and leading a team of writers. You'll drive editorial and technical excellence while collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Support. This role reports directly to the VP of Engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and execute a comprehensive documentation strategy
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of technical writers
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams
• Create and enforce guidelines for tone, structure, and accessibility

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in technical writing or developer education
• 4+ years leading teams or defining documentation strategies
• Proficiency in Markdown, Git, and technical CMS
• Fluent English (primary working language)

• Experience with AI/ML concepts
• Experience in a scale-up or open-source environment
• Knowledge of GDPR and European documentation standards
