Description

As an entry-level Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer, you will work under certified designers on new construction and renovation projects across educational, healthcare, commercial, and science sectors. You'll perform designs, assist with Revit/BIM modeling, and coordinate with senior engineers to deliver building systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering required by hire date
• Knowledge of heat transfer, solar energy, and fluid dynamics applied to plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC
• Related internship experience preferred
• EIT and LEED accreditation preferred
• Experience with Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform uncomplicated designs of piping, controls, and equipment for Plumbing/Fire Protection systems
• Assist in Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings from schematic design through construction administration
• Coordinate with specifications as a design team member
• Write draft reports for senior engineer review
• Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents
