Description

You will fabricate and assemble test equipment and mechanical assemblies, including high-pressure fluid systems, for SpaceX's vehicle and spacecraft testing. Collaborate with test engineers in a fast-paced R&D environment to support the latest designs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 5+ years experience in mechanical fabrication
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret tolerances (GD&T)
• Skilled with mechanical hand tools
• Experience with AN, MS, MP, and Swagelok fluid connections

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metallic piece parts to print using machine shop equipment
• Assemble test equipment to print including precision match drilling, welding, riveting
• Assemble large mechanical assemblies requiring heavy lift operations
• Fabricate and assemble high-pressure pneumatic and hydraulic fluid systems
