You will lead AI and HRIS product compliance, partnering with Product, Engineering, Security, and Privacy teams. You'll embed risk-based legal review into product development, own product terms for HRIS and AI features, and stand up core AI governance frameworks. Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with extensive experience on Product counseling
• Experience in technology, with prior HR-tech exposure (EOR/PEO/HRIS/Payroll) advising across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong command of emerging AI frameworks (EU AI Act, UK approach, US state/federal developments, Canada AIDA) and their interplay with data protection (GDPR/CCPA) and employment transparency rules
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Writes and speaks fluent English

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and HRIS product compliance, partnering with Product, Engineering, Security, and Privacy teams
• Embed a risk-based legal review into product development workflows
• Own product T&Cs for HRIS and AI features (output ownership, training use, acceptable use, transparency/disclaimers)
• Stand up core Product AI governance (model inventory, risk classification, human oversight, bias/testing, incident response alignment)
• Manage external counsel on complex, multi-jurisdictional issues; drive clear, practical outcomes
