Description

You will be responsible for ensuring Raptor engines and components are tested and qualified for flight conditions. This role offers diverse engineering challenges in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, working on one of the world's most complex engines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years of hands-on testing experience
• Experience with test instrumentation and control components
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of hazardous systems and high pressure system design

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engine and component tests to evaluate hardware performance and survivability
• Own test campaigns including test plan creation, system activation, operations, data review, and equipment design
• Provide daily direction to technicians for fabrication and integration of test articles and stand equipment
• Develop and maintain test procedures, sequences, scripts, and software
• Operate and troubleshoot data acquisition and control systems, fluid and mechanical systems
