Description

You will design fixtures and test equipment, assemble fixtures, and conduct structural tests on flight-critical articles for an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. This hands-on role involves managing suppliers, defining test procedures, and analyzing data to validate composite aircraft structural performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with lightweight structures (aircraft, spacecraft, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Strong CAD skills in NX, Solidworks, Catia, or Creo
• Ability to design and analyze simple components
• Ability to lift 50lb+ and travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Design fixtures, test equipment, and define instrumentation in CAD
• Assemble fixtures and conduct structural tests on flight-critical articles
• Create instrumentation definition, calibrate and install instrumentation
• Lead small test teams to drive programs to completion
• Design test stands, fixtures, DAQs, and define testing procedures
