💼 About This Role

You'll build cloud-native infrastructure services with Golang for Confluent Cloud on Kubernetes. You'll improve the reliability and scalability of a platform streaming data across thousands of clusters in multiple cloud providers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement Golang infrastructure services as Kubernetes operators
• Ensure provisioning, availability, and performance of Confluent Cloud
• Handle monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning
• Collaborate on building the PaaS product alongside other engineers

📋 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or equivalent experience
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
• Good understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Proficiency in Go, Python, C++, or other statically typed languages

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Golang and a Kubernetes CNI
• Experience using Kubernetes
• Relevant cloud infrastructure/cloud networking experience
