💼 About This Role

You'll lead sourcing and supplier management for custom silicon and electrical components critical to our product roadmap. Your work will directly enable NPI builds and high-volume production. This role offers the chance to shape supply chain strategy for a next-generation voice agent computer at a fast-paced hardware startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for custom silicon/ASIC and critical electrical components.
• Lead supplier identification, qualification, and selection for semiconductor partners.
• Drive commercial negotiations, including pricing agreements and long-term supply agreements.
• Partner with engineering teams to align supplier capabilities with product architecture.
• Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or commodity management in consumer electronics or semiconductor industries.
• Experience managing custom silicon or ASIC supply chains and collaborating with semiconductor manufacturing partners.
• Strong knowledge of consumer electronics semiconductor components such as memory, MCUs, PMICs, and connectivity chipsets.
• Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and managing component readiness through mass production.

• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem including wafer fabrication, assembly, and test flows.
• Experience with cost modeling and semiconductor pricing structures for custom silicon.
• Familiarity with fast-paced hardware startup environments and evolving supply chains.
