💼 About This Role

You'll act as the technical bridge between high-power laser testing, cleanroom electro-optics manufacturing, and 3D printer process teams. Your work directly supports metal additive manufacturing that competes with conventional techniques. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technology developed at Lawrence Livermore National Labs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute tests on high-power laser platform and generate performance reports.
• Characterize device performance to maintain backup inventory for printing.
• Create and maintain CAD drawings for LV configurations and assemblies.
• Author procedural documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshoot system-level 3D printer issues with the process team.

📋 Requirements

• Experience in electro-optical or laser systems manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on cleanroom experience with sensitive optics or liquid crystal devices.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software for assembly models and drawings.
• Experience executing DOEs and managing data tracking systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with semiconductor wafer processing.
• Familiarity with Airtable or similar databases.
• Mechanical aptitude for diagnosing complex hardware issues.
