Description

You will design, simulate, and test active and passive RF sub-systems for satellite payloads, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring hardware from concept to production.

Requirements

• BS in electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience in RF hardware design
• Deep knowledge of RF concepts (circuit analysis, amplifier design, noise, linearity, radio architectures)
• Hands-on experience designing and testing RF hardware at microwave frequencies
• Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, Cadence, HFSS) and PCB design (Altium)

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, implement, and measure active and passive RF sub-systems at microwave frequencies (SSPAs, LNAs, PAs, up/down converters, filters, etc.)
• Own hardware designs from requirements definition through manufacturing, bring-up, and qualification testing
• Integrate RF systems into spacecraft by collaborating with mechanical, payload, electrical, and software teams
• Specify, procure, and integrate third-party vendor hardware
• Assist in recruiting and hiring additional team members
