You'll shape how TEGNA pays, rewards, and retains talent across the organization, sitting at the intersection of compensation strategy, analytics, and HR technology. You'll partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to design and analyze competitive compensation programs. This role offers high visibility and the chance to modernize compensation through analytics and automation.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Lead administration of base pay, annual incentive, and equity programs
  • Evaluate and price jobs using market data and internal benchmarks
  • Build and deliver compensation analyses and dashboards in Power BI
  • Improve compensation operations and simplify workflows

📋 Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related field
  • Strong analytical mindset—comfortable with data and knowing what matters
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with HR systems like UKG, Cognos, or similar

✨ Nice to Have

  • Power BI experience
  • Working knowledge of compensation regulations (FLSA, pay equity)
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex analysis into business recommendations
