You'll design low-latency control systems for the world's highest average power pulsed lasers, enabling Inertia's fusion energy program. Your work will directly impact real-time measurement and feedback for high-power laser alignment. Partnering with industry leaders, you'll build demonstrator beamlines for commercial fusion energy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design real-time measurement and feedback systems for laser alignment.
• Build control systems for high energy lasers and optics metrology.
• Create custom data acquisition and analysis solutions.
• Integrate controls hardware and software for complex instrumentation.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or greater in relevant field.
• 5+ years experience in control systems design and specification.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, EPICS, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience integrating controls hardware and software.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high power laser systems.
• Familiarity with fusion energy or DPSSL technology.
• Knowledge of real-time control systems.
