You will be the primary point of contact for customers needing workout assistance on their loans, using strong negotiation and customer service skills to bring loans current and avoid default. You'll manage a portfolio of defaulted loans, analyze loss mitigation strategies, and coordinate with investors to achieve the best outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Exemplary written and spoken communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of loans in default and implement loss mitigation strategies
• Analyze work-out options (e.g., foreclosure, short sale, reinstatement) to deliver best return proposals
• Negotiate loss mitigation strategies with investors
• Set clear expectations with borrowers and communicate decisions through final resolution
• Manage relationships with internal departments and business partners
