Description

You will join the Roku Video Platform Engineering team to build next-generation video services for the Cloud TV Platform. You will work on video ingestion, encoding, VoD/live-linear, server-side ad insertion, and video QoS to deliver a best-in-class streaming experience globally.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable, reliable web-scale applications
• Translate functional specifications into component-based technical designs
• Write and review code; evaluate architectural tradeoffs for performance and security
• Collaborate with other engineering groups on video services initiatives
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with limited supervision
