Requirements

• Experience managing or tech leading backend teams in performance-critical environments
• Deep technical background in Golang, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture (preferably AWS)
• Proven ability to scale infrastructure for high throughput and low latency
• Passion for mentoring engineers and setting a high technical bar
• Clear communication and ability to lead through complexity and urgency

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of backend engineers for the core derivatives trading platform
• Set technical direction for high-performance services including order matching and risk systems
• Drive execution to meet SLAs on latency, data integrity, and uptime
• Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams for market expansion
• Foster a high-trust, inclusive team culture emphasizing speed and accountability
