Description

As Director, Country Manager for Australia, you will establish Affirm's presence in this key market, understand local dynamics, influence product roadmap, and develop relationships with merchants and stakeholders. Your work drives company-wide goals and ensures compliance while leading operational and commercial activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of management or strategic operations experience
• Knowledge of payments/financial services in Australia and New Zealand
• Ability to meet licensing requirements for payment institutions
• Interpersonal skills and C-level relationship building
• Legal authorization to work in Australia without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of consumers and merchants in Australia
• Report to the Board and coordinate cross-functional inputs
• Lead day-to-day operations and develop strategic plans for growth
• Oversee financial, budgetary, and compliance activities
• Manage product governance and credit activities as Responsible Manager
