You'll build a new AI Language Tutor from scratch, leading the technical team at SKELAR, a Ukrainian venture builder. Your core impact will be shaping the backend-heavy architecture and scaling it globally. This role stands out as a ground-floor opportunity to create a product that personalizes language learning for 1.8 billion people.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define technical architecture and strategy for the AI tutor platform
• Build and scale the engineering team from zero to high-performance
• Balance delivery speed with code quality and maintainability
• Partner with founders on product decisions and trade-offs

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Experience managing technical teams of 5+ people
• Proven track record with production-ready mobile apps published on App Store or Google Play
• Proficient with AI development tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code

✨ Nice to Have

• Frontend skills with React, Redux Toolkit, TypeScript, Next.js
• Experience with Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeORM
