💼 About This Role

You'll deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming services to inmates, supporting a therapeutic community within the prison system. Your work will help marginalized individuals build new values and lasting relationships. This role offers experience in a unique correctional treatment environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Facilitate large and small group sessions and structured activities.
• Provide individual support and develop treatment alliances with participants.
• Collect and submit data and track participant attendance.
• Participate in conflict resolution and mediation within the YCC community.

📋 Requirements

• One year of counseling, mentoring, or teaching experience with offenders.

✨ Nice to Have

• Certification in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or as a substance use disorder counselor.
• Bachelor's degree in counseling from an accredited college or university.
• Experience as formerly incarcerated or justice-involved individual.
