You'll lead regulatory approvals for xAI's on-site natural gas power generation facilities supporting AI supercomputing infrastructure. Your core impact is securing air permits, ERCOT registrations, and environmental authorizations for large-scale turbine projects. This role offers direct influence on rapid deployment of reliable power in a high-growth environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead preparation, submission, and management of all power generation permits in Texas.
• Manage ERCOT generation resource registration and interconnection filings.
• Coordinate technical documentation and emissions modeling for permit applications.
• Build relationships with Texas regulatory agencies to expedite reviews.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Power generation permitting expertise in Texas.
• Proven success securing major air permits (NSR/PSD/Title V).
• Deep knowledge of TCEQ and ERCOT processes.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale on-site generation projects (50+ MW).
• Familiarity with BACT/LAER determinations and air dispersion modeling.
• Background supporting both construction and operational phases of power plants.
