Description

As a Field Technician, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing Level II technical support via phone and email, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring client systems are maintained. You will travel to client sites in the Easthampton, MA region and document issues to build a knowledge base.

Requirements

  • 2+ years post-education IT work experience or Associate's degree in CS or IT
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Desktop (thru 10) and Server (thru 2016) OS
  • Skilled in Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server (thru 2019), Office 365
  • Understanding of networking: TCP/IP, switching, wireless
  • Valid ID and reliable transportation for client site visits

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level II technical support via phone and email to clients
  • Handle first call resolution and build strong customer relationships
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at desktop, server, and network level
  • Administer system backup and restoration processes
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and messaging systems
