Description

In this role, you will maintain and repair critical manufacturing assets at SpaceX, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on complex automation systems. You'll troubleshoot and resolve issues in control, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including PLCs, servomotors, gearboxes, overhead cranes, and KUKA robotics, while partnering with engineering teams to ensure reliable operations for the Starship program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8+ years maintenance technician experience
• 8+ years experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and/or electrical repair
• Ability to pass pre-employment questionnaire and physical
• Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all assets to ensure proper operating condition
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on complex automation systems
• Troubleshoot and repair control electrical system failures (PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, sensors)
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems (actuators, valves, pumps)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (ballscrews, linear rails, gearboxes, motors)
