Description

You will own the design, bring-up, and continuous improvement of high-rate avionics production lines for Starship vehicles. You'll act as the primary liaison between design and production teams, ensuring manufacturability and quality while driving innovations to achieve high-throughput production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering
• 1+ years of experience in design, manufacturing, and/or production of mechanical or electrical hardware systems
• Experience with 3D CAD software (NX/Unigraphics, Catia, Solidworks) preferred
• Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing in fast-paced iterative design environments preferred
• Willing to work weekends and extended hours as needed; must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident)

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of high-rate avionics production line design, bring-up, operations, and improvements
• Perform design for manufacturability engineering and act as primary liaison between design and production teams
• Responsible for avionics part manufacturability and introduction into high-rate manufacturing environment
• Lead root cause analysis of in-process failures and corrective actions
• Own design and validation of fixtures, tooling, and new technology introduced to the production line
