πΌ About This Role
You'll serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for the health and growth of Raft's Space Force portfolio, spanning account growth and delivery success. You'll leverage your insider knowledge of Space Force to be a trusted presence, not a vendor running a sales process. This role combines program management, customer relationship building, and business development in a mission-focused environment.
π― What You'll Do
- Serve as senior customer-facing point of contact across active Space Force programs
- Maintain regular touchpoints with program managers, contracting officers, and mission stakeholders
- Take on direct program management responsibilities when needed
- Own customer health across the portfolio and identify early warning signs
- Translate customer feedback into actionable input for engineering teams
π Requirements
- Direct experience working within Space Force or a joint command with Space Force equities
- Firsthand understanding of how Space Force programs are funded, structured, and acquired
- Some experience with program management or customer-facing account responsibilities
- Ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly and engage substantively with engineers
β¨ Nice to Have
- Experience with OTAs, GWACs, or IDIQs for software product buys
- Familiarity with key program offices and acquisition commands within Space Force
- Experience in a defense tech or government contracting environment
