Description

As a Validation Engineer at GILLIG, you will work closely with suppliers and internal engineering teams to validate mechanical and electrical components and entire vehicle systems. Your focus will be on ensuring test plans and documentation are completed on time to meet program objectives, contributing to the development of reliable transit buses.

Requirements

• Ability to work with little instruction on day-to-day work
• Applying industry practices and standards (NFPA, NEC, APTA, etc.)
• Time management to deliver projects on schedule and budget
• Collaborate across the organization to resolve problems
• Experience in validation engineering and testing

Responsibilities

• Support DV/PV testing for components, systems, and vehicles
• Develop and release DV/PV test plans based on program targets
• Coordinate with suppliers and external testing resources
• Develop test benches and deploy instrumentation/DAQ strategies
• Report test results, document non-conformances, and identify root causes
