Description

You will design and build valves, regulators, and actuators for Starship and Super Heavy, implementing production flow and flight-like testing to deliver high-quality components at an accelerated rate. You'll work closely with development engineers and machine shops to optimize manufacturability and solve yield investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering
• 1+ years mechanical design or hands-on manufacturing experience
• Experience with fluid and electromechanical components preferred
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanics, materials, thermodynamics
• Proficient in interpreting schematics and engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Design factory process for producing valves, regulators, and actuators
• Implement linear production flow and visual bottleneck indicators
• Collaborate with design engineers and vendors for design-for-manufacturability
• Maintain work instructions and track defects
• Support acceptance testing and solve production yield investigations
