Description

You will collaborate with the in-house Exhibition Design Team to create premium physical spaces for Sotheby's New York headquarters and regional offices, bringing major sale campaigns and events to life through design from concept to installation.

Requirements

7+ years experience in exhibition design and production
Strong understanding of spatial design and built environments
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, V-Ray, SketchUp, 3D modeling rendering
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Create building activations for major sale campaigns and standalone events
Manage multiple projects from brief to completion, including research, concept development, 3D renderings, and installation
Present designs to stakeholders including senior management
Estimate projects and manage budgets with Operations and vendors
Oversee salesroom design and layouts for select auctions
