๐ผ About This Role
You'll build wiring harnesses and test racks for satellite buses in a cleanroom environment. Your work will directly support the integration of spacecraft that enable earth observation and communications. You will adhere to NASA-STD-8739 or IPC-J-STD-001 standards and use precision assembly techniques for flight hardware.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Build, route, and terminate complex satellite wire and coax harnesses
- Perform assembly, integration, and testing of satellite systems
- Use oscilloscopes and multimeters for functional testing
- Maintain as-built records and red-line drawings
๐ Requirements
- 5+ years of satellite or spacecraft assembly and integration experience
- Active certification in NASA-STD-8739 or IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum
- Expert ability to read electrical schematics and 3D CAD models
โจ Nice to Have
- Experience with high-density connectors (Micro-D, Nano-D, Circular Mil-Spec)
- Knowledge of vacuum-compatible materials and outgassing prevention
- Familiarity with quality standards for aerospace manufacturing
